October 19, 2019 Dr. Paula Montgomery presented a lecture entitled Saving Futures. She clarified the many alternatives now available within the Juvenile Justice System. She also explained the considerable progress and improvements made to Florida's Juvenile Justice System. Watch the presentation on YouTube here.


November 16, 2019 The Gun Safety Committee reported on the League sponsored Lock-It-Up Program. The goal of the program is to promote gun safety by making the public aware of the dangers of firearms that are not safely and securely stored. January 18, 2020, Sallie Brown presented a lecture and video on Mexico, covering a brief history of the U.S. relationship with Mexico in the 19th and 20th centuries.     She also provided information concerning Mexico regarding three critical factors for all Americans - immigration, trade, and security. You can watch a video of her lecture on YouTube here.

When Women Vote The booklet, When Women Vote, was originally produced in 1995 by the League of Women Voters of the Pensacola Bay Area. It is a study of the Pensacola suffragist movement and the founding of the League of Women Voters in the Pensacola Bay Area and its history. Read it here
